Position open: Risk & Insurance Management Analyst

Summary: Risk and Insurance Management Analyst is to conduct insurance risk

management analysis for clients; provide commercial insurance risk management

analysis to management and insurance carriers; provide underwriting support to

company management and insurance carriers, make recommendations and

provide solutions to clients; develop abroad understanding of environment in

which the insured operates; and communicate clients’ particulars, including

budgeted revenue, to company management and insurance carriers for risk

management purposes.

Specific Duties:

 Provide strategic analysis on Clients’ Risk Management Record and Agency Loss

Record to optimize our profitability and Loss Ratio in overall and separate

business lines;

 Provide professional and appreciate risk management advices for clients,

cooperate with the loss control department of insurance carriers and follow up

with the compliance of loss control recommendations;

 Assist with data gathering and reporting to satisfy requests made by regulatory

agencies, auditors and inspectors for Loss Control purpose;

 Evaluate the implementation of risk reduction strategies and develop complex

models and analysis of the cost and benefits associated with risk transfer;

 Perform underwriting loss analysis for all property and casualty insurance


 Provide analysis for underwriting, claims, and budgeting decision making and

represent Risk Management in claims meetings to ensure optimization and to

provide Risk oversight;

 Conduct research on current market risk initiatives and stay well versed in

insurance industry standards, policies, changes and news;

 Conduct ad-hoc risk studies and quantitative analysis as required and develop

reports summarizing analytical results and recommendations.

Job Requirements:

 Four years college degree or equivalent in Finance, Risk Management or closely

related fields;

 Excellent in Data Analysis and Risk Management knowledge;

 Proficient in Excel, MS Access, and Spreadsheets;

 Excellent in oral and written skills;

 Detail oriented.
